Benefits of Hiring an EV

Lower Fuel Costs

It's generally less expensive to fully charge an EV, although electricity prices can fluctuate just like the costs of fuel. You'll also have access to cheaper and even free parking in some areas.

Reduced Tailpipe Emissions

Electric vehicles take a lighter toll on the environment as they do not produce tailpipe emissions, a common cause of greenhouse gases and one of the causes of air pollution.

Superior Comfort and Performance

EVs accelerate faster than ICE vehicles, delivering maximum torque to the wheels almost instantaneously. EVs are also quieter than ICE vehicles, providing a smooth driving experience with less noise pollution.

Charging an Electric Vehicle

Charging an EV is a bit different from putting fuel in your car. You can use a home charging unit or find a charging station in your area on one of the EV charging map apps. Every electric vehicle has a charging port, a bit like the fuel tank inlet on an ICE vehicle. When you’re ready to charge, you simply open the port cover and insert the charging station connector.

Yes, your EV will be 80% charged which is the manufacturer’s maximum recommended charge to preserve battery life.

An EV charging map app will show all the different charging points across the country. Some will even plot a trip and show you where you can recharge along the way. You can download these apps and use them on the go.

Google maps will also show you your nearest charging point if you search ‘EV charging points’.
